In case you missed it, The Food and Drug Association (FDA) has approved tranquilizer dart guns to put kids to sleep. Earlier, pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson's made a request to produce and sell tranquilizer dart guns that put kids to sleep to which FDA responded positively.

According to the reports, This dart gun will put a child to sleep within 4 seconds without any dangerous long term side effects.

So the company claims that the effect of this Tranquilizer will last for around 6 to 8 hours and its reach is estimated between 30 to 40 meters. Johnson & Johnson's also suggests that this dart gun shouldn't be used for more than 3 to 4 times in a day on kids. "There has been a high demand for such a device for years now," explains to us Ernie Knewitz, media relations vp over at Jonhson and Johnson.

Ernie Knewitz further added, "We have tested over hundreds of recipes to finally find one that doesn't cause too much damage to the brain despite regular use. We have finally found a mix of PCP and a heroin derivative that seems to do the job." This tranquilizer is actually made up of a heroin derivative.

This dart gun will be available in three different categories ranging from 0 to 5 years old, from 5 to 12, and from 12 and over and will be available to the public as of July 2015. Not everyone has welcomed this decision of FDA positively.

Many children NGO's are opposing this decision by FDI and referring it to be a "dangerous solution" for kids health. "It is totally unacceptable to think that we are going to start shooting our kids with dart guns and drug them with heroin and PCP just because their parents are cowards and can't take care of their kids," explains, vp of Children's Aid Society, a private charitable organization providing foster care.
