Kuchisake-Onna means "Slit-Mouthed Woman" and is one of the famous Japanese urban legends till date. The legend goes that there was once a samurai whose wife cheated on him. When the Samurai found out, he slit her face from ear to ear.(Like who cheats on a samurai of all?!Duh.)

And the wife returned as a malicious spirit who wanders around the Nagasaki Prefecture wearing a surgical masking asking people if she looks pretty before killing them. Recent rumors are that someone angered the spirit and it followed them all the way to South Korea!

Brian Bethel is a journalist who has strongly started to believe in this legend after being approached by two children with black irises who asked him to "let them in his car" in late 1990s at Abilene, Texas.

Six times for your eyes, which she'll pluck out one by one. Seven times for your soul, which she'll swallow whole."
