Samuel Clemens aka Mark Twain was born after the appearance of Halley's Comet in 1835. He declared that he will die when the comet returned. He died in 1910, one day after the comet appeared at its brightest.

White Star Lines lead transatlantic ocean liner collided in 1911, seven months later the titanic sank and in 1916, the White Star Lines largest vessel sank in the sea. These three disasters have a common stewardess who was present in all the three shipping disasters and survived.

On February 13 1746 a man called Jean Marie Dubarry was executed for killing his father. Hundred years later on the same day a man was executed for patricide with the same name.

In 1872 Rodemire de Tarazone who was a French Baron was killed by Claude Volbonne. Two decades earlier his father was killed by someone having the same name.

Once King Umberto I was having dinner in a restaurant. He found that the owner of the restaurant looked exactly like him, had the same name and the wife with the same name. He opened the restaurant on the day when Umberto became the king. The next day both were killed in unrelated incidents.

Three men were convicted for murdering Sir Edmund Berry on November 26, 1911, and were hanged at Greenberry Hill in London. Their names were Green, Berry and Hill.
