Dubai has serious laws governing the sale, consumption, and transportation of alcohol. However, consuming alcoholic beverages is only permitted in private or licensed locations. The emirates exercise a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to alcohol, under any circumstances don’t drink and drive.

Taking pictures of anyone, particularly locals in Dubai without their willingness and permission is illegal and a fine can be imposed on you if found doing so.
#4 Avoid public displays of affection
In Dubai, public affection is strictly forbidden, even simple kissing, hugging may lead to severe fines and imprisonment. By law, it is illegal to have sex without marriage, however, this doesn’t mean that you must be married. Likewise, homosexuality is illegal too.
#3 Don’t Dress Inaptly
Dubai is an Islamic region and it has strict dress regulations like women prefer covering their heads wearing non-revealing dresses or Hijab. It discourages nudity and topless swimming is banned on beaches.
Even men, while jogging or wandering around shouldn’t reveal their bodies. Further, T-shirts having offensive or disrespectful slogans is also debarred.

The leaders within the society are highly respected in the entire United Arab Emirates which has a tribal based system. Any type of insulting comment or criticizing remark against leader, flag or country are against law and are treated as an offense.
