Technology is considered to be the best thing that has ever happened to the humans but in a blink of an eye, it can join the other side of the table. It all depends on how you use it.

So Christal McGee was driving home from work with three coworkers on September 10, 2015. She decided to speed up the car and touch the mark of 100mph and use the "speed filter" on Snapchat to brag about it to her followers.

As one can expect, in the entire fuss about clicking the correct picture, she met with an accident.

Wentworth Maynard was merging on to the four-lane highway. Christal hit Wentworth's Mitsubishi Out lander so hard that he crossed all four lanes before slamming into an embankment.

Even Christal was injured. While she was been transported to the hospital, she did something that shocked everyone.

So while her way to the hospital, Christal decided to take another selfie and post it on Snapchat. I mean, seriously? Christal and her friends in the car suffered minor injuries but Wentworth suffered a traumatic brain injury that put him in the ICU for five weeks.

Wentworth is now suing both Christal and Snapchat in order to seek compensation for his medical expenses. He said "This is a product liability case because Snapchat put something very dangerous in the marketplace without any warnings or safeguards".

Well, all the best to the people who love to click selfies anywhere according to their convenience.
