Apple iOS 9 Has 10 Awesome Secret Features That You Should Know About!

iOS 9 features a ton of awesome major new improvements. These are the smaller, hidden features that make little iterative improvements to iOS that when taken as a whole make the operating system that much better to use.

#9. Find Specific Pictures With Your Voice!
You no longer need to search manually for that special photo. Siri can now search your photos based on their information and criteria. Ask her to find a specific photo from 14 July 2015, for instance, and she'll do just that.
#8. Shortcut To Apple Pay
In addition to accessing Apple Pay via the new Wallet app, you can also navigate to the mobile payments app from the lock screen by double-clicking the home button. From there you'll be able to see your wallet, choose a card, and make a payment quickly.
#7. Batteries widget
Apple has added a new built-in Notification Center widget. It's the battery widget and it shows you the remaining battery life of your iPhone and any connected devices-like the Apple Watch. It also has a tiny icon there to let you know if the device is charging.
#6. Write Notes And Draw On Email Attachments!
You can now draw on attached photos or sign important documents in your email. Just click and hold on an attachment to bring up the menu. You'll find a new option called 'Markup and Reply.' This is where you can add items to the top of your documents and send them along.
#5. Use Your Finger To Select Multiple Photos
Selecting multiple photos in a camera roll used to be a painful process; having to select each individual picture. But now in iOS 9 in any photos selection window you can tap on the first photo you want to select and then simply drag your finger around the screen to select more.
#4. Low Power Options
The new Low Power Mode (Settings>Battery) lets you reduce power consumption. The feature disables or reduces background app refresh, auto-downloads, mail fetch, and more (when enabled). Great for those who worry about their battery!
#3. Calculate And Convert Currency On The Fly
The new OS can now convert currency and do calculations in a heartbeat. You just have to type the math problem or currency conversion into Spotlight and it will give you the answer instantly. Saves a lot of time and energy!
#2. Hide Photos
Apple has included a new Hide option. If there's a photo you don't want people to easily see in your main library, select the photo, then tap the Share button, and select the Hide button at the bottom to hide it completely.

This is one of my favorite hidden features in iOS 9. The photo album on your iPhone or iPad has always been a slightly cluttered mess, but iOS 9 has brought some changes that could help. Open the Photos app and tap Albums. You'll see that all your photos are now neatly categorized into folders, such as Selfies, Panoramas, Screenshots, and more.
