Losing weight can be an extremely long process. This slow process can seem daunting to some. But what you need to remember is just how good you look and feel after. It is like the light at the end of the tunnel, you need to have faith that it will appear.

Your body burns calories all the time, while you're sleeping, while working, while walking, weight loss does not have to be about not eating anything and insane exercise routines. Many people who hesitate to take the first step towards a fit and healthy lifestyle think that being thinner means having to starve. This assumption is completely incorrect. Starving will only lead to you developing a bigger appetite at the time of your next meal and thus overeating and making the problem worse.

A balanced diet means eating things that are good for you and eating them regularly. It does not mean just eating vegetables. It means eating meat with a side of vegetables. You can fill up on as much vegetable as you want.

Staying away from sweets is also part of the diet but there is one cheat day every week where you get to eat sweets till you're sick! Eating healthy food and feeling great and then eating sugary food and feeling sick will help you stay off the sweet delights. At least until the next cheat day.
