Dancing....nothing can truly describe how you feel when you dance. Some say it is the way one's soul speaks to the other unhinged. It's not just dancing, even appreciating 'dance' is a talent..a feeling that is highly valued and important.
And cmon, whether you are good at it or bad at it, everyone wants to shake their booty once in a while.
You know sometimes there are certain feelings and emotions that can't be expressed through mere words. Some have to be shown. And what better way to drive home the message through the best way there is? 'Dance' is the answer you are looking for.
Let me ask you something, do you think you need music to dance?
What if I told you, you are about to see something that will blow your mind and you are gonna absolutely gonna love it? And just because there is no music doesn't mean there's nothing to listen to. There's actually a lot to listen to.
Cmon now! Let's find out what I am talking about!
The Mahomet Seymour dance team decided to step it up and put aside all their fears for the performance of a lifetime. One that would sweep the internet with a unique dance routine with an important message.
It all started when they decided to dance, not to music but to a speech called "What Are You Afraid Of?" by Jon Jorgenson. And with every word he spoke....every dance move they executed, the audience hung on to every bit.
And right when you think you have seen it all, a surprise awaits you in the middle. What these girls did was extremely hard, especially without the aid of music. Together with their moves and the words of Jon Jorgenson, you feel something, something that moves you to your core.
One team member remarked, "We are incredibly proud of these amazing dancers; their strength, talent, time, joy, spirit, heart and translation through art."
