Honest Human Mother Shows What It Looks Like After Giving Birth
No feeling in the world can match up to the feeling of bringing a new life to the world. Pregnancy is the most beautiful emotion a mother shares. But nobody knows what rollercoaster of emotions she goes through, tossing between happiness and grief. Even after she has pushed out the baby, some changes stick to her, don’t know for how long.
Julie Bhosale, an Australian nutritionist, wants to show the society which is obsessed with ‘bouncing back’ as fast as other women as per media pictures. She is an active social media user and wants to support women, accept their body, by sharing her photos regularly and how she looks, to help combat the situation.
Recovering from pregnancy is just as hard as going through it, consuming the same amount of time.
#4 One Day Postpartum
The photo on the left is Julie carrying life when she was 37 weeks pregnant and on your right, she is carrying her baby in her arms, 24 hours after she gave birth. You can see the bump is still as big and didn’t vanish.
Though a couple of days is over but the bump still exists making it impossible to slide into your skinny jeans, stretch marks stand out and are clearly visible.
#3 One Week Postpartum
Things are not the same as seen in movies, where the bump vanishes, life still seems to be tackled by huge pyjamas and watermelon belly.
After the second week, life seems to appear a bit back to normal, the bump has shrunk, pyjamas are gone and yeah, she's happy too seeing herself in the mirror away from the maternity clothes.
Read on to know what happens in tenth week.
#2 Ten Weeks Postpartum
Two months have passed since she gave birth to the little one.
The body is still undergoing transitions, not to forget the stress and sleepless nights. The freaking marks all over the stomach while still combating to get into her earlier shape.
#1 Fourteen Weeks Postpartum
The bulge has disappeared but the skin is still soft and loose, with few stretch marks daunting here and there, the maternity clothes have skipped out of her wardrobe, finally making her feel much better.
Julie inspires every woman and recommends that everyone is unique so are the healing powers of the body, so you shouldn’t compare yourself with anyone else in the world.
You are a mother and should enjoy the happiness that you brought into this world.
