By Embracing Her Cellulite, Ashley Graham Is Inspiring Women With New Instagram Pics
The trolls are waiting to attack people on the internet while they expect unrealistic body and they categorize them as the 'Perfect' body!
Instagram is such platform where people post pictures and get trolled for the same.
Proved the naysayers wrong!
Ashley Graham is one of the biggest promoters of body positivity on social media. Despite being an average dress size for a woman in the US, she was told that she was too fat to make it in the modeling industry. But she proved them wrong!
Good for mental health for women
Ashley is a big name now, and she is very serious about her principals. She is not only a plus size model but she also refuses to allow her pictures to be edited by magazines.
There should be normal bodies in social media for the other woman to see them and get inspired to love their bodies as they are. This is good for their mental health.
“Show me somethin’ natural like a** with some stretch marks… OR cellulite.”
She even posted unedited pictures on her social media accounts and she even captioned it with lyrics from Kendrick Lamar’s song ‘Humble’, with Graham writing, “Show me somethin’ natural like a** with some stretch marks… OR cellulite.”
To further preach this, Graham recently shared a number of other pictures of herself showing off her cellulite. These were taken for her own line for inclusive fashion house Swimsuits For All.
These pictures were inspiring because they were taken from almost every angle of Ashley's body, and she was praised by fans on Instagram for being “real” and having the courage to show off her “imperfections”.
Comments on IG
Here are some comments she got on IG, “She helps me realize my cellulite and hips are beautiful.”
Another added, “Thank you for normalizing cellulite. It’s so unfair that women have to try to live up to impossible airbrushed standards thanks to mass media. I appreciate your body positivity.”
Body in positive light
Despite being a source of inspiration for so many women now, Graham has admitted that she didn’t always see her body in such a positive light.
She comments, “I haven’t always felt confident in my body either,” she said.
“This is just a moment in your life and if you want change, it’s not a pill that you take, it’s not a boyfriend that changes your mind, it’s not a family member it’s you,” the model continued.
“I always tell women, get down in your bra and panties, look yourself in the mirror and say ‘I love you. Back fat you are my best friend. Thighs you are so sexy you can’t stop rubbing against each other.'”
“Start talking to those things that you don’t really love and all of a sudden your mind changes. You’re the one that has to do it.”
Confidence is everything!
“Confidence is in there, you just have to find the role model that is in you.”
Ashley made proved other negative people around her wrong and she hasn't stopped there she inspires women to accept their body as it is. To love it, so that they don't feel the mental pressure, as 88% of the population are adolescent girls strive to maintain the hourglass figure, otherwise 'perfect' body.
We salute Ashley Graham for this!
