What Happens Before And After You Die?
The first reason is the excess release of catecholamine in the bloodstream which decreases the appetite of a person. Another reason for the loss of appetite is the improper functioning of intestines which might prevent food from being processed and it might just sit in the stomach causing nausea and uneasiness.
Physical fatigue and weakness are the two things that people suffer when reaching towards the end. The main reason is the medicines that they are taking. Also, people suffer in taking breaths which are also called as ‘death rattle’ because they are unable to cough and swallow discharges.
They are generally two kinds of death, cardiac death and brain death. In cases of cardiac death, the heart could be restarted and have proper functioning of other parts. In cases of brain death or ‘vegetative state’, there is no observed brain activity and life support is what keeps their organs functioning. If this life support is unplugged, they would die.
Changes after Death
The first stage is Rigor Mortis in which the body stiffens up and this starts after a couple of hours of death and starts ending after 24 hours of death.
This occurs after Rigor Mortis in the livers. There is purple-red colouration in specific areas of the body wherever the blood starts to settle in the body under gravitational force.
The increase of pressure and gravity on the body cause many vessels to rupture in the areas of dependency.
Generally, our bodies are warm which helps in blood flow throughout the body, but after death, the temperature gradually falls down. If in case the body temperature is less than the room temperature at the time, the temperature might fall down quickly.
A dark red-brown strip appears in the middle of the eye which happens if the eyes are not completely shut down at the time of post-mortem drying.
A process of autolysis and putrefaction, in which the body enzymes kill the cell tissues and the body enters the state of rotting and decay.
