Know the Most Common Types Of Cancer And Their Symptoms
Breast cancer usually starts off in the inner lining of milk ducts or the lobules that supply them with milk. A malignant tumor can spread to other parts of the body. A breast cancer that started off in the lobules is known as lobular carcinoma, while one that developed from the ducts is called ductal carcinoma.
Following are the signs or symptoms
A lump in a breast
A pain in the armpits or breast
A rash around (or on) one of the nipples
A swelling (lump) in one of the armpits
An area of thickened tissue in a breast
#4 Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is an abnormal and uncontrolled growth of cells found in your prostate gland.Common symptoms include:
Decreased force of the urine stream
Pain and/or difficulty when passing urine
Passing urine more frequently (especially at night)
Blood in the urine
Inability to pass urine
#3 Cervical Cancer
Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers in women worldwide. Cervical cancer occurs when abnormal cells on the cervix camera.gif grow out of control. The cervix is the lower part of the uterus that opens into the vagina. Most cervical cancer is caused by a virus called human papillomavirus, or HPV.
Symptoms of cervical cancer may include:
Bleeding from the vagina that is not normal.
Pain in the lower belly or pelvis.
Vaginal discharge that isn't normal.
#2 Oral Cancer
Oral cancer, which includes cancers of the lips, tongue, cheeks, floor of the mouth, hard and soft palate, sinuses, and pharynx (throat), can be life threatening if not diagnosed and treated early.
Swellings/thickenings, lumps or bumps, rough spots/crusts/or eroded areas on the lips, gums, or other areas inside the mouth. .
Oral cancer is treated the same way many other cancers are treated with surgery to remove the cancerous growth, followed by radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy (drug treatments) to destroy any remaining cancer cells. Don't smoke or use any tobacco products and eat a well balanced diet.

There are three main types of skin cancer: basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma. Basal cell and squamous cell cancers are less serious types and make up 95% of all skin cancers.
Melanoma usually appears as a pigmented patch or bump.Nothing can completely undo sun damage, although the skin can sometimes repair itself.Apply sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 or greater 30 minutes before sun exposure and then every few hours thereafter.
